Our '66 T34
Our '66 Type III Karmann Ghia has been the most enjoyable car we have owned. The first picture was taken near Four Corners Monument while on a trip to Colorado and later became the cover shot in an issue of the Karmann Chronicles. The second picture was taken at the '97 Kelley Park Spring Meet in San Jose where we took first place in the Type III Ghia class. The third picture is from a show in Marin County. |
Our '65 T34 w/electric sunroof
Our '65 Type III Karmann Ghia was always a work in progress. I bought it from the family of the original owner and drove it for 8 monthes before the tranny broke. I had it running again and took it on several trip but sold it to work on my last project. About 40 T34s with sunroofs are known to exist. |
The '63 convertible Ghia kind of dropped in my lap. I bought it off a used car lot after a friend saw it there. It needed carbs and an ignition switch to put it back in running order. It, of course, is not an original but rather a converted coupe. But was still real fun to drive.
